Homer Richard
Homer came from Texas and met Louise Courville in Richard, Louisiana. He spoke only English and she spoke only French. Born on Jan. 22, 1904, he died in a tornado on Nov. 7, 1957.
Louise Courville Richard
Went to school in first grade, got in a fight to defend her brother and never went back. Born Aug. 17, 1904, died at age 95 on Sept. 12, 1999.
